The second game, however, proved to be lot more challenging as the Quebecois, galvanised by back to back upsets over Mercedini and Gyatso-Kai, brought the Goldhorns to the brink. That said, however, it was the Goldhorns who walked off the winner after a back-and-forth affair in the 8-7 game, en route to their third straight World Cup of Hockey victory.
