Liga B Champions Trophy
The Liga B Champions' Trophy (LBCT) is an international tournament organized by the International Federation of Club Football. It features the winners and best teams of leagues forming the second division of countries' football systems, with each association entering up to three clubs. The winner of the LBCT also gains entry to the Super Cup. Brenecia is the most successful association in this competition, with clubs from that country having won the trophy twice.
The LBCT consists of preliminary rounds leading to a group stage of 32 teams. From the group stage, 16 teams advance to the knockout stage, culminating in the final which is a single match played at a predetermined venue. It was modelled after the UICA Series B Champions’ Cup to serve as a successor to that competition following the demise of UICA.
