Baptism of Fire 24

The Hatchling Cup was the name given to the 24th Baptism of Fire tournament held in Sel Appa, which preceded World Cup 37.

Format

Twenty teams participated in four bales (groups) of five teams each, with the top two advancing on points. Each of the four bales will play a one-leg bale stage. The top two in each group will proceed to the Knockout Stage.

Tie-Breakers

In the bale stage, the ranking of teams in each bale was based on the following criteria:

1. Head to Head result
2. Highest number of wins
3. Highest goals scored
4. Lowest goals conceded
5. Highest goal difference
