The Church in Darmen is the largest Protestant denomination in Darmen. It was founded in 2028 as a merger of four major Darmeni churches: the established Holy Forden Church, the pentecostal Inter-denominational Born Again Evangelical Church, the Lutheran Church-Darmeni Synod and the Darmeni Methodist Church, as well as several other smaller protestant denomincations. The merger occurred at a time of great unrest in Darmen and was largely necessitated by the poor financial conditions being experienced by many of the churches.
