Alexander I National Stadium (also known as the National Stadium; Spanish: Estadio Nacional Alejandro I) is a multi-use sports facility in Swangard, Valladares, located on the General Baraguez Avenue beltway, across the Rosales neighborhood of Metropolis. It is the premier sports venue in Valladares and one of the largest stadiums in Rushmore. Co-owned by the District of Metropolis Government and the Valladar Football Association, it hosts matches of Metropolis Alligators as well as most home matches of the Valladar national football team.
Originally opened in 2004 with a capacity of 85,000 people, it underwent extensive renovation works in 2014 ahead of the hosting of Cup of Harmony 61, including the expansion to 95,021 seats with the construction of a second tier on both ends, the construction of a new roof with a lighter material, the expansion of press booths and VIP boxes, as well as the enabling of Wi-Fi access for all seats, the stadium was reopened with a friendly match between Metropolis Alligators and Fontvielle Impact. It regularly hosts the final match of the King's Shield, Valladares's domestic cup competition, and has also hosted the finals of the 19th UICA Champions' Cup, Cup of Harmony 61, the 10th, 20th and 29th Copas Rushmori, and World Cup 74.
