The Church in Darmen is the largest Protestant denomination in Darmen. It was founded in 2028 as a merger of four major Darmeni churches: the established Darmenian Church, the Born Again Evangelical Church of Darmen (a Pentecostal denomination), the Lutheran Church-Darmeni Synod and the Darmeni Methodist Church, as well as several other smaller Protestant denominations. The merger occurred at a time of great unrest in Darmen and was largely necessitated by the poor financial conditions being experienced by many of the churches.
