The Football League of Xanneria is a four tier football system composed of 80 teams. It ranges from the top tier, the Omega Division and ends with the Alpha Division. The league has been around since 1939, or the equivalent of most nations 1929. Although rapid changes have taken place, the league has been a stable force in the Xannerian sporting world. Starting in the early 40s it originally played amongst teams southeastern areas of Xanneria. As it eventually grew there were enough teams to garner a second tier and also the advent of faster cross country travel methods such as jet airplanes helped expand the game west and teams eventually formed out in the western provinces such as Denalia and West Troy. Into the modern era and now there have been recent expansion plans forming a fourth tier and the renaming of the third tier to the Gamma Division
Teams
There are currently 80 teams in FLOX. Locations range from cities such as Hawthorne, Denalia (population 5,700,000) and Dominica City, XCT (population 3,100,000) to small hamlets such as the port of Fair Toby in Roberval Population (75,000) and Green Hill in Galliburton (population 65,000)
