Olympic Stadium

Olympic Stadium is the name usually given to the main stadium of an Olympic Games. An Olympic stadium is the site of the opening and closing ceremonies. Stadiums may of course be named "Olympic Stadium" without having played such a role, while a stadium that has been an Olympic stadium may be better-known by another name especially if it was used prior to an Olympics.
