Tikariot, officially the Metallic Brotherhood of Tikariot, is a country in central Rushmore. A coastal nation it faces the Xandrian Sea to the south west. It borders The Kytler Peninsulae to the west, Græntfjall to the north, Nyowani Kitara to the east and southeast as well as Weatherdon to the northeast.
Etymology
The origin of the name Tikariot is somewhat unclear. The most common story is that it came from some of the native tribes that to this day rule in the Eastern province of the Bashperian Darklands, meaning "Land of the Soaring Owls". Legend has it that it came from explorers that sailed the oceans in search for new lands. The legend says that just as one of the sailor called out the sighting of land the captain could be seen frantically waving his hands during a particularly spicy meal, calling for a soothing beverage while uttering the words "Tea! Curry hot!" This story is, however, unconfirmed.
