The Games of the VI Olympiad was an international multi-sport event held in Lasft, the second-largest city of Cafundéu. The city's famous Obelisco Monumental served as the Olympic stadium, site of the opening and closing ceremonies. As of the 14th Olympic cycle, the 103 participating National Olympic Committees stands as the record for a Summer Olympics.
The opening ceremony involved stand-up comedy, motorcycle stunts, and the intervention of Marcos Mentor, president of the Cafundelese Olympic Committee, to officiate the formal portion after Emperor Raúl I became excessively inebriated. Akbarabad won the most gold medals with 19 while Kelssek won the most overall medals with 52.
Baseball and softball were dropped as medal events but held as demonstration events. These were also the first Olympics to feature the revised cycling programme introducing the omnium event while removing the Madison, individual pursuit, and points race. Sorthern Northland and Liventia were among the most vocal delegations in criticizing the changes. Rugby sevens was held as a demonstration event for the second time in a row. Other demonstration events included American football, billiards, bocce, Gaelic football, lacrosse, skateboarding, and golf.

Day 1
- Weightlifter Hillary Dax won gold in the women's 48kg for Ferkas.
- Vekaiyu and Thatius were two delegations left disappointed by the swimming heats.
- Civil Citizenry's entire tennis team was eliminated in the opening round.
- Raihan Ahmed (Akbarabad) was eliminated from the badminton men's singles by defending champion P'yŏng Yong-Ik (Sorthern Northland). This led Akbarabad to launch unsubstantiated allegations of cheating.
- Fr. Vasily the Heavily-Accented dismissed suggestions that entering Fr. Abudimus the Undeniably Mad into men's rhythmic gymnastics would harm The Archregimancy's image as "outrage".
Day 2
- In a crash-filled event, Gideon Veidt (The Kytler Peninsulae) came from behind in the men's cycling road race to become that country's first-ever gold medallist. Darmen also won its first medal through Lukas Volger's silver.
- A close finish in the women's 4x100m freestyle saw Krytenia, Mesoland, and Kelssek end with the gold, silver, and bronze medals.
- Farah Hamid became the first woman to win a swimming medal for Akbarabad in the 100m butterfly.
- Terrance Ritchie (The Babbage Islands) won gold in men's 10m air pistol.
Day 3
- Vivienne Manuka (The Kytler Peninsulae) fell in the asymmetric bars portion of the gymnastics qualifying and was eliminated from contention.
- Disappointed with results, the sports federations in Thatius fired five coaches from swimming, tennis, and soccer in the middle of the Olympics for being too harsh and pessimistic with their athletes.
- Weightlifter Joe Lin (Taeshan) followed up his gold in Outineau with a bronze medal in the men's 69kg.
- Cafundéu won the men's team archery event by one point over Jasĭyun to give the hosts their first gold of the Games.
Day 4
- Euskirribakondara greeted with elation the winning of its first two medals, with Alía Monkada finishing third in the women's 100m breaststroke and Seldoa Piké winning gold in weightlifting men's 85kg.
- Mytannion's first-ever Olympic medal was won in swimming by Zuzana Spevakova in the women's 400m individual medley
- Vekaiyu won the gold medal in the men's gymnastics team event.
Day 5
- New Montreal States took the gold in women's team archery.
- Phillipe Destry (Kelssek) successfully defended his swimming gold medal in the men's 400m individual medley.
- Taeshan won three medals including Jansen Golgezz winning gold in men's 10m air rifle and Joquin Lee's silver in women's table tennis singles.
- Louis Knoff (Bergnovinaia) won the gold in men's singles tennis, while The Islands of Qutar won its first-ever Olympic medal with Natalie Field's bronze in women's singles tennis.
- Swimmer Riyna McAves (Vekaiyu) successfully defended her gold medal in the women's 200m individual medley. Alía Monkada's bronze medal in that event made her Euskirribakondara's first multiple medal-winner.
- Svetlana Achenova (Chenkorya) won bronze in the women's weightlifting 75kg class, raising the profile of weightlifting in that country.
Day 6
- Tomas Ujarvaa (Mytannion) dominated the final of the men's C-1 canoeing slalom, finishing 3 seconds ahead of Austin Sinclair (Cosumar).
- Vinsent Ivere (Vekaiyu) set an Olympic record in the men's 100m freestyle to defend his gold medal from Outineau.
- Guy Douxseigneur (New Montreal States) won gold in the men's gymnastics individual all-around, highlighted by his performances on the rings and the high bar.
Day 7
- Sorthern Northland claimed the entry of two athletes named Jenny Malthouse in the women's team sprint reflected the success of its cycling team's cloning program and not an administrative error.
- Ryan Shaw (Liventia) won a surprise bronze in the gymnastics floor exercise after errors by several medal contenders. Shaw went on to compete in the rowing men's double sculls event.
Day 9
- Kelssek took a 1-2 finish in the cycling women's Keirin through Sarafine Garoutte and Ariel-Anne Debleury.
