The Coupe des Patriotes, also known unofficially as the Patriotes Cup in Anglian, is a knockout tournament competition for football clubs registered as members of Football Kelssek. The trophy and the competition is named in honour of the Patriotes, one of the major republican-socialist parties in Kelssek's republican revolution. The most successful team in the competition are six-time winners Latrobe Athletic. Clayquot City were the first team to successfully defend the trophy.
Entry is open to any football club in Kelssek which is in good standing with the Football Kelssek, the sport's national association. Non-professional clubs play in the qualifying rounds before Kelssek Football League National and Conference clubs (levels 2-3 of the league system) enter the competition in the "First Round", and the Kelssek Championship (top division) clubs enter the Third Round. Each round's fixtures are decided by an unseeded draw (in other words, no brackets), which also determines which team will play the tie at home. Extra time and the penalty shootout are used to decide the winner if the score is tied after 90 minutes. The final venue is rotated throughout the country and announced two years in advance.
Burnaby SC were the first team to complete a league and cup double by winning the 14th final against their city rivals Coquitlam United. They were only the third team to have had the opportunity to do so: in CdP 6 Langlois Océanic were upset by Kawarthas District, while in the CdP 9 final CF Outineau were denied by CF Saint-Richard. Remarkably, the following season Langlois Océanic became the second team to win a double. CF Outineau became the third club to win the double when they combined the 22nd Patriotes Cup with the KFL 73 championship.
As they often match up minnows against giants, cup competitions are keenly watched for upset wins by underdogs. The most well-known example is Kingstown Athletic winning the 29th Patriotes Cup final as a second division team over Burnaby SC, denying them a league and cup double. Before this West Haligonia Spartan reached the final as a third division team, where they came from behind twice against CF Outineau to get to extra time with the score tied 3–3, before losing in the penalty shootout. Notable giant-killing runs included an Association Ariddienne team that reached the quarterfinals as a second division team, in a lineup that featured teenaged future stars Danielle Maradrogba and Êsêkïl dí Völará.

The Coupe des Patriotes was sponsored by the food manufacturer Co-op Condiments, under its Olympic Mayonnaise brand from editions 1-8. Restaurant delivery platform Buy&Munchin will sponsor CdP 9 to 12 in a deal reportedly worth τ10 million to be paid over four years.
